Thanks be to God, for us to be called His children by grace. He also calls us to spread the news of His salvation, building the body of Christ together and glorify His name!

Looking back at the past 16 years of journey, our church has only been able to do God’s work through renting venues, due to many reasons such as low number of congregation, limitation on finance, the continuous rising of land prices and tough regulations put in place by the government. As a result, a few relocations have happened and caused the development of church’s work to reach a certain bottleneck and became difficult to see any break through. Nevertheless, I thank God for His guidance and protection, that the brothers and sisters of the Carmel church have always adhered to a clear goal, which is to complete the great commission. God also gave us the opportunity to share the gospel with people and lead them to the Lord, especially many Chinese scholars continue to show up and take part at church services, the Spirit of God works in their hearts. Not only do we get to see the effect of salvation, we can also foresee the changes these people will bring to China in the future when salvation reaches them.

Thanks be to God, for He has prepared a great location for us, as a permanent venue for Carmel Church in year 2019. In addition to the purpose of a venue for worship, we plan to expand the theological education and training of preachers, and strive to make this venue a place that cares for the needs of the local community and evangelical work for the foreign ministry.

Our goal of fundraising this time is 3 million AUD. Therefore, apart from the dedication of offering from our church’s brothers and sisters, we also need your prayer and financial support to sustain this long term and valuable work. With God’s blessings and your efforts, we will be able to reach our goal very soon!
